PROFESSIONAL POLICIES

  • I am NOT a doctor. I do not practice medicine. I do not diagnose or treat specific illnesses. I do not prescribe or adjust medication. Reflexology is not a substitute for medical treatment but maybe a complement to most types of therapy.

  • What is Reflexology? Reflexology is a method of manual techniques, such as thumb and finger-walking, hook and backup, rotating-on-a-point applied to specific reflex areas involving reflex maps resembling the human body found predominantly on the hands, feet, and ears. The techniques applied to stimulate the complex neural pathways linking body systems and support the body's effort to function optimally.

  • What does Reflexology do? 1. Reflexology promotes stress reduction throughout the entire body, bringing about relaxation. 2. Reflexology naturally promotes balance and normalization of the body through the relaxation process. 3. Reflexology stimulates circulation and delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells.

  • REFLEXOLOGY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL CARE. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY SPECIFIC MEDICAL PROBLEMS AND HAVE NOT SEEN YOUR MEDICAL DOCTOR, PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN.

  • Not all topics discussed during a session may fall under the Reflexology scope of practice. Some information or knowledge given during a session may come from other additional practices, certifications, or trainings that the practitioner has completed. If sessions consist of mixed energy or mixed modalities, those changes in practices will be verbally announced during the session. This will clarify session goals and boundaries for both the client and the practitioner.

  • I am not a liscenced massage therapist. I do not claim to practice massage therapy of any kind.

  • Marma Therapy comes from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda Science in India. A holistic science stemming back thousands of years in Indic culture. Ayurveda and its science is not currently standardized or regulated in the United States.
