Ayurveda Wellness Program

Ayur: Life | Veda: Knowledge

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a systematic health care system that dates back over 3,000 years. Ayurveda is one of the worlds
oldest healing sciences, and recognizes that good health = harmonious balance of mind, body,
and spirit.

Ayurveda looks to promote good health from the beginning instead of fighting disease when it’s
already too late. It is the understanding of our body and how it functions as a whole instead of
individual localized pain/classifications.

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to health care in which individuals learn how to nourish the body
through every tissue layer, body system, and energetic channel.

The Doshas

The Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha each include different ratios of the 5 elements: Earth, Air,
Fire, Water, and Either.

Vata: Air + Either
Pitta: Fire + Water
Kapha: Water + Earth

At conception, we receive our own uniquely formulated constitution of the 3 Doshas. It is, however, the
consistent change of outside forces that knock our Doshas out of balance. You see, everything
that we absorb through the 5 senses has a huge impact on our Doshic value, and this absorption is always within
constant fluctuation.

Our external environment can play a huge role in developing disease, pain, discomfort, heartache,
grief, sadness, etc. When we don’t have the tools to recalibrate, we are often left feeling
disconnection from mind, body, and self.

There are, however, many ways to bring your individual constitution (the Doshas) back into
balance. There is a way to return home to your unique self. There is a way to reconnect with your
values, body, and mind. There is a way to fill your cup, so that you can function at
your highest vibration.
